Excited for the trip

So it's about a Month until my study abroad trip to England and I couldn't be more excited. I've already received my passport and am buying my plane ticket tomorrow. While I am very interested in learning about the English culture, there are some other goals that I hope to achieve during my trip. The first goal I have for the trip is to learn about how to incorporate technology into my teaching. I am extremely interested in learning about how to use the latest technological advancements to improve the quality of my lesson plans and teaching style. I hope to become more familiar with these tools and hope to be able to try them out during my internship at Hiawatha Elementary School next year. Another goal for my trip is to form a comparitive analysis between English and American Elementary Schools. I do know that religion plays a key role in elementary schools in the UK (for example, Muslims are the most prevelant). I am anxious to see how the schools both opperate and differ from the many elementary schools that I have seen here in Michigan. My last goal for this trip is to meet people and immerse myself within the culture of England. I can't wait to talk to people and learn from them about their culture and lifestyle. I can't wait to experience this trip and will keep a daily journal about my experiences while staying in Plymouth and London!!
